Woburn ARTBEAT is about creating opportunities for children within the arts and funding art projects in local schools. It is free, and all funds raised are used to further develop projects for the kids, involving established artists.
Organisers of Woburn ARTBEAT - www.woburnartbeat.co.uk - Bedford Street Gallery is working to develop this into an annual event with more artists, larger exhibitions, and live events, to benefit the artists, all the immediate local schools and Woburn.
Woburn ARTBEAT 2013: Unfortunately the exhibition had to be cancelled due to lack of funding. Projects with the schools will continue through the year. We aim to be back with a bigger and better ARTBEAT 2014.

Bedford Street Gallery is a contemporary art gallery, set up by John Cowlishaw and Johann Bester, located in the High Street of Woburn, one of Bedfordshire’s best known and most attractive villages.15 Minutes from J12/13 off M1.
The Gallery offers an eclectic selection of original work from artists across the UK.
We have a large collection of artists committed to the gallery with some fantastic new works by most of them, in painting, sculpture, ceramics, glass and photography.
We at Bedford Street Gallery, are proud and honored to have been involved in supplying the sculpture by Nick Moran for the presentation by FINA to Michael Phelps at London 2012, as the most decorated Olympian of all time.
